The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier launches across PS4, Xbox One, and PC - as well as iOS and Android - on 20th December 2016. By what the trailer shows, you can expect more hungry undead people, more shady living people, and a whole bunch of sad choices. The new game can be played by newcomers unfamiliar with the series, but obviously will pack a bigger punch to those who stuck through the past entries - they will be able to once again import their past save files for a unique tailored experience, and rejoice on the fact the new game maintains the original vibe, utilising the same Borderlands-esque cartoon style and even bringing back Clementine's original voice actress, Melissa Hutchison.

Pre-ordering through Telltale's website will net you special bonus on PS4 and Steam - PlayStation 4 digital pre-orders get The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: Michonne for free while Steam users get a 10% discount on New Frontier. The new season will follow the same five episodes format we've all grown accustomed to, but with a twist: the special two-part "premiere" on 20th December will consist of two episodes debuting on the same day: "Episode One: 'Ties That Bind' Part I" & "Episode Two: 'Ties That Bind' Part II".

A fan-favourite character from the TV show and comics, Jesus, also makes an appearance - voiced by Brandon Keener, best known as Garrus Vakarian from Mass Effect - and is shown kicking some undead rotting arse in a tunnel along with his signature overcoat. Together, they both run into a shady group called "New Frontier" who, according to Clementine, cannot be trusted. The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier follows the story of Javier, a young man determined to protect his family, who ends up meeting Clementine one day after going through some unspecified but emotional set of gruesome events. Telltale's The Walking Dead is getting a new season, and it's bringing Clementine back for another run.

Skybound have now announced a release date for this upcoming collection, that being September 10th, 2019. The Telltale Definitive Series will include the all four of the main seasons of The Walking Dead as well as the 400 Days DLC and Michonne spinoff.
